उधम सिंह नगर के खटीमा क्षेत्र में भालू का आतंक थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। तराई पूर्वी दक्षिणी जौलासाल रेंज में ऐंचताबिही नानकमत्ता निवासी प्रताप सिंह पुत्र केसरी सिंह को भैंस चराने के दौरान झाड़ी में घात लगाए भालू ने जानलेवा हमला कर गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया। परिजनों ने बताया कि अपने मालिक पर भालू का हमला देख भैंस और उनके साथ गए कुत्ते ने प्रतिरोध करते हुए आक्रोश दिखाया। जिसकी वजह से पीड़ित की जान बच गई। चिकित्सकों के मुताबिक घायल का फिलहाल उपचार चल रहा है।

According to doctors, the injured is currently undergoing treatment.
