Bear attacks women collecting fodder in Rudraprayag district

In Rudraprayag district’s Jakholi block, a bear attacked seven women who had gone to the forest to collect fodder, leaving all of them injured. During the incident, women tried to defend themselves with sickles and raised an alarm, after which the bear fled. However, one woman was seriously injured and has been referred to higher center.
