Bear attacks woman working in fields

According to the information, Sudha Raturi (57), resident of Vitula village, was working in the fields near her house. During this time, a bear hiding in the bushes attacked the woman. Hearing the noise, the woman's son and nearby people reached the spot. The villagers somehow drove the bear away from there. By then the bear had badly scratched the woman's head and back with its nails. More than 50 stitches were placed in the woman's head. The woman has been referred to AIIMS by helicopter for treatment.
