Banned cough syrup inspection conducted in Dehradun, several stores sealed

After reports of children’s deaths from cough syrups in several states, a special inspection drive was carried out in Dehradun under the ‘Safe Drug Safe Life’ campaign. During this, banned cough syrups and expired medicines were found, prompting authorities to take strict action — sealing several medical stores and closing some others.
