Bailey bridge connecting China border broken

Due to incessant rains, the Bailey Bridge over the Chorgad River in Nelong Valley on the India-China border in Uttarkashi has been washed away. The pillar of Bailey Bridge collapsed and the entire bridge got submerged in the river. Due to the collapse of the bridge, the Army and ITBP personnel have been cut off from the international border, including the route connecting Himachal Pradesh.
