विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती ऋतु खण्डूरी ने देहरादून रेसकोर्स के श्री गुरु नानक महिला इंटर कॉलेज, खेल मैदान में नाबार्ड हस्तशिल्प मेला में सम्मिलित होकर मेले में लगे स्टोलों का अवलोकन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन परम्परागत हस्तशिल्प एवं लोक कलाओं को प्रभावी मंच प्रदान करने व उनके संरक्षण हेतु प्रोत्साहित करने के साथ महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं ग्रामीण आर्थिकी को मजबूती प्रदान करते हैं।

Assembly Speaker Smt. Ritu Khanduri participated in the NABARD Handicraft Fair at the Sports Ground of Shri Guru Nanak Mahila Inter College, Dehradun Race Course, and visited the stalls at the fair. She said that such events provide an effective platform for traditional handicrafts and folk arts and encourage their conservation along with women empowerment and strengthening of the rural economy.
