गर्मी की दस्तक के साथ ही जंगलों में आग लगने का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया है। क्षेत्रफल की दृष्टि से बेहद संवेदनशील तराई पूर्वी वन प्रभाग में वन विभाग ने फायर सीजन शुरू होते ही अपनी तैयारियां शुरू कर ली हैं। डीएफओ हिमांशु बागरी ने बताया कि फायर सीजन अलर्ट के चलते कर्मचारियों की संख्या बढ़ा दी गई है। इसके अलावा कंट्रोल बर्निंग का कार्य किया जा रहा है।
