मूल रूप से पौड़ी जिले के मेरुड़ा गांव की रहने वाली व वर्तमान मे देहरादून जिले के ग्राफिक एरा कॉलेज की एमबीए की छात्रा अंकिता ध्यानी ने एशियन क्रॉस कंट्री चैंपियनशिप में स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया है। अंकिता ने अपनी टीम के खिलाडियों के साथ 10 किलोमीटर की क्रॉस कंट्री रेस में चैंपियनशिप पर कब्जा करके यह गोल्ड मेडल जीता है।
