अल्मोड़ा पुलिस द्वारा चेंकिग की जा रही थी, इस दौरान अल्मोड़ा से हल्द्वानी की ओर जा रही एक बस को पुलिस द्वारा रोककर एल्कोमीटर से चैक किया गया तो चालक सन्तोष कुमार शराब के नशे मे बिना डीएल, बिना कागजात के वाहन चलाते हुए पाया गया। शराब के नशे में वाहन चलाकर चालक बस में सवार 12 लोगों की जान जोखिम में डाल रहा था। पुलिस द्वारा चालक को गिरफ्तार कर, बस को मौके पर सीज किया गया।

नशे में बस चलाने पर अल्मोड़ा पुलिस ने की सख्त कार्यवाही

Checking was being done by Almora Police, during this time a bus going from Almora towards Haldwani was stopped by the police and checked with alcometer and the driver Santosh Kumar was found under the influence of alcohol and was driving the vehicle without DL and documents. The driver was putting the lives of 12 people traveling in the bus at risk by driving under the influence of alcohol. The police arrested the driver and seized the bus on the spot.
