अल्मोड़ा पुलिस टीम औचक चेकिंग पर थी तो इस दौरान गरुड़ाबाज पेट्रोल पंप के पास एक रेस्टोरेन्ट संचालक पुलिस को अपनी ओर आता देख पहले ही मौके से फरार हो गया। संदिग्धता प्रतीत होने पर पुलिस द्वारा चैक किया गया तो रेस्टोरेंट से 5 पेटियों में अवैध देशी/अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद हुई। अल्मोड़ा पुलिस अभियुक्त की तलाश में जुट गई।

When the Almora Police Team was on surprise checking, a restaurant operator near Garudabaj petrol pump fled from the spot before seeing the police coming towards him. When the police checked on suspicion, 5 boxes of illegal country/English liquor were recovered from the restaurant. Almora Police started searching for the accused.
