थाना चौखुटिया के ग्राम सेमलखेत में गैरसैंण सड़क मार्ग पर चीड़ का विशाल वृक्ष गिरने से सड़क मार्ग अवरूद्ध हो गया था। सूचना पर चौखुटिया पुलिस द्वारा तत्काल पीडब्ल्यूडी से जेसीबी मशीन मंगवाकर वुड कटर से पेड़ के टुकड़े बनवाकर पेड़ को सड़क से हटवाकर मार्ग खुलवाया गया तथा यातायात को सुचारू किया गया।

The road was blocked due to the fall of a huge pine tree on the Gairsain road in village Semalkhet of police station Chaukhutia. On receiving the information, Chaukhutia Police immediately called for a JCB machine from PWD and got the tree cut into pieces with a wood cutter and removed the tree from the road.
