Alaknanda River in Uttarakhand in spate, Lord Shiva’s statue submerged in Rudraprayag
Due to continuous rainfall in Uttarakhand, the water level of the Alaknanda River has risen significantly. In Rudraprayag, several ghats have been submerged, and even the statue of Lord Shiva is now underwater. The administration has relocated residents living near the river and urged tourists to stay away from the riverbanks.
