Adulteration confirmed in iodized salt supplied at ration shops in Uttarakhand

According to the information, the suspicion of adulteration in iodized salt supplied through ration shops in Uttarakhand has been confirmed. During testing at the Rudrapur laboratory, sand-like insoluble particles were found in the salt, after which the Food Commissioner imposed an immediate statewide ban on its distribution.
