Action taken by police on drunken driving

For the safe completion of the Chardham Yatra, near Devidhar on the Gangotri National Highway, Mr. Rajendra Nath, Inspector Traffic along with the team, stopped and checked the bus coming in the wrong way/speed, the bus driver was found drunk. The bus was seized by the police after arresting the driver under the MV Act and the owner of the bus was contacted and told to arrange another driver and bus for the pilgrims.
