Action by Electricity Department, power connections of 14 departments disconnected

According to information, the electricity department in Uttarkashi has taken strict action by disconnecting power connections of 14 government departments over pending dues exceeding ₹50 lakh. It was reported that this step was taken after long-standing notices and repeated requests for payment were ignored.
