Aadhaar card to become more secure with a new design

According to the information, UIDAI is preparing to introduce a new, more privacy-friendly Aadhaar card design, in which only the photo and a secure QR code will be visible instead of printing the name, address, and Aadhaar number. It was reported that the older design often led to misuse of photocopies and data theft.
