मुख्य सचिव डॉ.एस.एस. संधु की अध्यक्षता में बीते दिन सचिवालय में सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक के प्रयोग को रोकने हेतु गठित स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स की तृतीय बैठक आयोजित हुई। बैठक के दौरान मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि सिर्फ सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक ही नहीं, बल्कि हर प्रकार के प्लास्टिक के प्रयोग को हतोत्साहित करने के लिए एवं आमजन में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए विशेष कदम उठाए जाने चाहिए।

Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr.S.S. Sandhu, the third meeting of the Special Task Force constituted to stop the use of single-use plastic was held in the Secretariat yesterday. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary said that not only single-use plastic but special steps should be taken to discourage the use of all types of plastic and to spread awareness among the general public.

A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr.S.S. Sandhu to stop the use of single-use plastic.
