A heavy to very heavy rain alert was issued in the state

According to the Meteorological Department, a forecast of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri, Tehri, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat, and Udham Singh Nagar on Friday. Due to the rain, there is a possibility of landslides and debris. In this case, the roads may be closed.
