A gift to the devotees coming to Yamunotri

The Uttarakhand government has signed a contract for the ropeway (3.38 km) to be built from Janki Chatti (Kharsali) to Yamunotri Dham in the state. According to European standards, 500 tourists will be able to reach the Dham in minutes at a time in the ropeway, which is going to be built on the lines of France and Switzerland.
