नगर निकाय चुनावों को शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न कराने के लिए चमोली पुलिस ने फ्लैग मार्च निकाला है। पुलिस उपाधीक्षक मदन बिष्ट के नेतृत्व में पीपलकोटी, चमोली और नंदप्रयाग में निकाले गए इस मार्च का उद्देश्य लोगों में सुरक्षा का भाव पैदा करना और भयमुक्त मतदान को प्रोत्साहित करना है।

The aim of this march taken out in Pipalkoti, Chamoli and Nandprayag under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Madan Bisht is to create a sense of security among the people and encourage fear-free voting.
