चम्पावत में ग्राम नरियालटाक ढरोज निवासी डूंगर सिंह अपने बेटे का जन्मदिन मनाने के बाद रात में मेहमानों को छोड़ने के लिए कार से मालाकोट गए थे। वहां से लौटते समय रात 10 बजे रैंगलबैंड से एक किलोमीटर दूर देवीधुरा की तरफ कार 80 मीटर गहरी खाई में जा गिरी। हादसे में डूंगर सिंह समेत दो ग्रामीणों की मौत हो गई। पुलिस और स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और घायलों को अस्पताल पहुंचाया।

Dungar Singh, a resident of village Narialtak Dharoj in Champawat, had gone to Malakot by car to drop off the guests at night after celebrating his son's birthday. While returning from there, the car fell into a gorge 80 meters deep towards Devidhura, one kilometer from Wrangelband, at 10 pm. Two villagers including Dungar Singh died in the accident. Police and local people reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital.
