जानकारी के अनुसार, देहरादून की सीबीआई विशेष अदालत ने हरिद्वार के लोक निर्माण विभाग में हुए 2001-02 के वित्तीय घोटाले के 20 साल पुराने मामले में नौ में से आठ आरोपियों को दोषी करार दिया है। जांच में सामने आया कि अधिकारियों ने मिलीभगत कर फर्जी चेक के जरिए सरकारी धन की निकासी की थी।

According to information, the CBI special court in Dehradun has found eight out of nine accused guilty in a 20-year-old financial scam related to the Public Works Department in Haridwar during 2001–02. The investigation revealed that officials, in collusion, withdrew government funds by issuing fake and unauthorized cheques.
