उत्तरकाशी में 79वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस सादगी और देशभक्ति के साथ मनाया गया। कलेक्टर परिसर में गंगोत्री विधायक सुरेश चौहान और जिलाधिकारी प्रशांत आर्य ने संयुक्त रूप से ध्वजारोहण किया। वहीं धराली आपदा को देखते हुए समारोह सादगी से आयोजित हुआ।

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated in Uttarkashi with simplicity and patriotism. At the Collectorate premises, Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan and District Magistrate Prashant Arya jointly hoisted the national flag, while the ceremony was kept simple in view of the Dharali disaster.
