28 Naxalites lay down arms and return to the mainstream in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region recorded a major breakthrough in the anti-naxal campaign as 28 Maoist cadres, including 19 women, surrendered before the police in Narayanpur. The administration has assured them full rehabilitation support and officials have also urged other active Naxalites to abandon violence and join the mainstream.
