टिहरी जिले के भिलंग क्षेत्र की ग्राम सभा धारगांव में उपचुनाव में इस बार बीएड की छात्रा शिवानी राणा ने निर्विरोध जीत हासिल की है। पहले उनका नामांकन उम्र कम होने के कारण रद्द हो गया था, लेकिन 21 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण करने के बाद उन्होंने दोबारा नामांकन भरा, जिसके बाद उन्हें सबकी सहमति से प्रधान घोषित किया गया।

In the by-election in Dhargaon village of the Bhilang area in Tehri district, B.Ed student Shivani Rana secured an unopposed victory. Earlier, her nomination had been rejected due to being underage, but after turning 21, she filed her nomination again and was unanimously declared the village head.
