14-foot king cobra spotted in village, forest department team rushes to the spot

A 14-foot-long king cobra sighting in a village of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district created panic among locals. Forest department officials and members of the Snake Helpline rushed to the spot and, safely captured the snake and released it into a dense forest. It is one of the most venomous and rare snake species found in India.
