ऋषिकेश नगर निगम को स्वच्छता सर्वेक्षण में बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने पर अटल निर्मल नगद पुरस्कार के अन्तर्गत 10 लाख रूपये की पुरस्कार धनराशि दी गई है। मेयर अनिता ममगाईं ने बताया कि नगर में सफाई व्यवस्था बेहतर है और इसी का नतीजा है कि नगर निगम को यह पुरस्कार मिला है। मेयर ने बताया कि पुरस्कार से प्राप्त धनराशि का 50 प्रतिशत कर्मचारियों के पुरस्कार वितरण में और शेष बचे 50 प्रतिशत धनराशि को स्वच्छता अभियान में खर्च किया जाएगा।

Rishikesh Municipal Corporation has been given a prize money of Rs 10 lakh under Atal Nirmal Cash Award for its better performance in the cleanliness survey. Mayor Anita Mamgain said that the cleanliness system is better in the city and as a result of this, the Municipal Corporation has got this award. The Mayor said that 50 percent of the money received from the award would be spent in the distribution of prizes to the employees and the remaining 50 percent would be spent in the cleanliness campaign.
