अवैध मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी एवं रोकथाम के लिए चलाए जा रहे अभियानों में थाना क्षेत्रान्तर्गत कपकोट पुलिस द्वारा लगातार प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। इसी क्रम में बीते दिन थाना कपकोट पुलिस टीम द्वारा नरेंद्र सिंह मेहता, निवासी गैरखेत, थाना कपकोट, जनपद बागेश्वर, उम्र 27 वर्ष को गोलना क्रेशर के पास 13 बोतल रम के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया।
