Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Master’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences from a recognized university with one year of post-Master’s research experience in R&D in industrial or S&T institutions or scientific activities and services.
  • OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences with three years of post-degree research experience in R&D or scientific institutions.
  • Desirable: Experience in bird husbandry, avian surgery, dog sterilization, wildlife handling, and Bustard management.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 40 years

Selection Process

Shortlisting will be based on essential qualifications, percentage of marks, relevance of specialization, and research experience. The top ten (10) shortlisted candidates for each position will be invited for an online interview. The final selection will be made by a duly constituted Selection Committee. Original documents must be produced at the time of joining for verification.

The list of shortlisted candidates for interview will be published in the “Announcements” section on the official WII website. The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
