Educational Qualifications

  • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences or Environmental Sciences with NET qualification, OR Graduate degree in Professional Course with NET, OR Postgraduate degree in Professional Course, OR Qualification in national-level examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DCS, ICMR, DRDO, IIT, etc.
  • Desirable Qualification: Minimum one year of experience in fieldwork related to similar projects.

Work Responsibilities (Junior Research Fellow)

  • Assist in formation of site-specific plans for Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR).
  • Conduct field visits, mapping, and monitoring of ANR plots.
  • Prepare maps, datasets, and reports for forestry activities.
  • Provide technical assistance to field staff and officers.
  • Conduct surveys for soil, regeneration, carbon stock, and biodiversity.
  • Identify seed bearer trees, establish monitoring points, and maintain ANR journals.
  • Organize training and workshops for frontline staff.
  • Assist in data collection, evaluation, and submission of monitoring reports to DFO.
