The Directorate of Education under the Union Territory Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Samagra Shiksha, Diu has released a notification for engaging staff and teachers on Short Term Contract (STC) basis for Government Schools and Samagra Shiksha office in Diu. The recruitment will be conducted through a Walk-in-Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

• Assistant Teacher (TGT): Graduate with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. (NCTE recognized) OR 4 years B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. Medium of SSC should be English.
• Primary Teacher: Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% + 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR 12th with 45% + 2 years D.El.Ed (as per NCTE) OR 12th with 50% + 4 years B.El.Ed OR Graduation with 50% + B.Ed.
• Upper Primary Teacher: Graduation in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with D.El.Ed OR B.Ed. with 50% marks OR 45% with B.Ed. (NCTE norms) OR equivalent. Must have passed TET conducted by Central/State Government.
• Music Instructor: 12th pass with minimum 50% + Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Music from recognized institution.
• Physical Education Teacher: 12th with minimum 50% + Graduation/Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education/B.P.Ed. from recognized institution.
• Work Education Instructor (Computer): 12th with 50% + BCA OR B.Sc. (Computer/IT) OR Graduation with PGDCA.
• ICT Instructor: Same as Work Education Instructor (Computer).
• MTS (Multi Tasking Staff): 10th pass or equivalent examination. Candidate must have knowledge of the local language.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per orders/guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Reservation Details

Reservation will be provided as per the rules and regulations of the Central Government. Specific category-wise reservation details are not mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview on the scheduled date.
• Written Test and Practical Test for Primary, Upper Primary and Assistant Teachers (TGT).
• Classroom Demonstration for Primary, Upper Primary and TGT posts.
• Practical Test for Part Time Work Education Instructor and ICT Instructor.
• Candidates must score minimum 40% marks in Written/Practical Test to be eligible for Classroom Demonstration and Interview.
• Separate applications are required for Primary and Upper Primary posts. A single application for both will not be entertained.

Application Process

Interested candidates must appear for the Walk-in Interview in person at the given venue and date. Candidates are required to:

1. Fill the prescribed application format.
2. Bring self-attested copies of educational qualifications, age proof, and other required documents.
3. Bring original certificates for verification.
4. Attend the interview at the scheduled time. Late entry will not be entertained.
