Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a bonafide citizen of India.
• Candidate must have Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).
• Educational Qualification: Madhyamik passed or equivalent standard.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borok.

Age Limit

Physical Standards

Candidates should possess good physique and sound health and should be fit for arduous forestry field work. Persons with disabilities will not be eligible.

Physical Test

The physical test will be qualifying in nature. Distance must be covered on foot within 4 hours.

• Male: 25 km
• Female: 16 km

Selection Process

• Written Examination: 85% of total marks
• Interview: 15% of total marks
• Only candidates securing cut-off marks in written examination will be called for interview and further process.
• Cut-off marks may differ for different categories.

Application Process

1. Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
2. No physical application will be accepted.

4. Applications submitted after 31 May 2026, 5:30 PM will not be entertained.

Medical Fitness

Candidates who qualify in the written examination and interview will have to undergo medical examination conducted by the Health Department, Government of Tripura. A certificate may be required confirming that the candidate is fit for strenuous outdoor or field activity of the Forest Department.

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be admissible.
• Government employees must submit No Objection Certificate from employer.
• Women candidates must bring self-declaration certificate certifying that they are not pregnant on the date of physical test.
• Interview process may be cancelled or stopped by the Department without citing any reason.
• Date, time and venue of interview may be changed without prior intimation.
• Decision of the Selection Committee will be final.
