    • Sub Inspector (AB): Graduate in Arts / Science / Commerce or equivalent from a recognized university.
    • Constable (AB): HSLC (10th) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board.

Selection Process

  1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Race, Long Jump, Chin-ups, etc.
  2. Medical Examination and Physical Standard Test (PST)
  3. Written Test (only for Sub Inspector AB) – 100 MCQs (1 mark each, 0.5 negative)
  4. Psychometric Test – 20 marks
  5. Final Merit:
    • Sub Inspector (AB): Written 100 + PET 80 + Psychometric 20 = 200 marks
    • Constable (AB): PET 80 + Psychometric 20 = 100 marks
