Application Process

Applications must be submitted online only through the official website of SSC (https://ssc.gov.in) or via the "mySSC" mobile application available on Google Play Store. Candidates are required to complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website. Aadhaar-based authentication is recommended. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Special Requirement (Delhi Police Male SI): Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) is mandatory.
• Note: Candidates appearing in their final year are eligible, but they must possess the required qualification by the closing date.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• General: 20 to 25 years (Born between 02.08.2000 and 01.08.2005)
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deducting military service
• Departmental candidates (Delhi Police):
  • UR/EWS: up to 30 years
  • OBC: up to 33 years
  • SC/ST: up to 35 years

Reservation Details

Reservation is available for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Ex-Servicemen categories as per Government rules. In Delhi Police (Male), 50% of Ex-Servicemen quota is reserved for candidates from Special Forces/NSG, those with Qualified Instructors grading, or Navy/Air Force specialized commando units.

1. Paper-I (Computer Based Test): General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, English (200 marks)
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET)
3. Paper-II (Computer Based Test): English Language & Comprehension (200 marks)
4. Medical Examination (DME/RME)
5. Document Verification
6. Final Merit List based on normalized scores of Paper-I & II, NCC bonus marks, and preferences

NCC Bonus Marks: C Certificate – 10 marks; B Certificate – 6 marks; A Certificate – 4 marks (in each Paper).

Other Important Information

• Candidates must qualify in PST/PET which include height, chest measurement, races, jumps, and shot put.
• Medical standards include minimum vision 6/6, no flat foot, knock knee, or squint in eyes.
• Tattoos allowed only under restricted conditions (religious symbols, specific size, and location).
