Overview

SJVN Limited invites online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh for undergoing one-year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in various trades and disciplines. The engagement is purely for training purposes and does not guarantee employment after completion.

Available Apprenticeship Positions

Total Seats: 100 (40 Graduate + 25 Diploma + 35 ITI)

Duration of Training: One year

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years (as on closing date)
• Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years (UR/EWS), 13 years (OBC NCL), 15 years (SC/ST)

Stipend / Base Salary

Reservation and Domicile Criteria

Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS and PwBD candidates shall be as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. 25% of total seats are earmarked for Project Affected Families (PAF) and Project Affected Areas (PAA) of SJVN with first preference to PAF candidates. Only Himachal Pradesh domicile candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates must produce relevant certificates issued by the competent authority.

Eligibility Conditions

• Only domicile candidates of Himachal Pradesh are eligible.
• Candidates who have already undergone training or have job experience of one year or more after completing education are not eligible.
• The gap between result declaration and training commencement must not exceed five years.
• Result awaited candidates need not apply.
• Candidates who have undergone apprenticeship in SJVN earlier are ineligible.

Application Fee

₹100/- for General/OBC candidates. SC/ST/EWS/PwBD candidates are exempted from fee payment. Payment can be made through Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking on SJVN’s e-recruitment portal. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

No interview will be conducted. The selection will be based purely on merit determined by marks in 10th, 12th, ITI/Diploma/Degree as applicable.

In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference. Final selection and verification will require submission of original documents and medical fitness certificate.

2. Register online and fill in all personal and educational details carefully.
3. Upload scanned copies of passport-size photograph and signature (JPEG/JPG ≤ 500 KB).
4. Ensure that a valid email ID and mobile number remain active for at least one year.
5. Submit the online form and pay the application fee as applicable.
6. No manual or paper applications will be accepted.

Other Important Instructions

• No extension or employment will be provided after completion of training.
