Adhoc appointment for a period of 89 days, extendable by another 89 days if found satisfactory, or until the post is filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier. Maximum tenure as Senior Resident is 3 years including any prior service as Senior Resident in Govt. hospitals.

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma/DNB in relevant specialty recognized by NMC, with registration in Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or applied for registration.

Eligibility is department-specific (e.g., Haematology requires MD in Medicine or Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine allows multiple specializations).

Age Limit

• General / EWS: Up to 45 years
• OBC: Up to 48 years
• SC / ST: Up to 50 years
• PwBD: Age relaxation as per Govt. rules

Reservation Details

• Total vacancies: 114 across departments.
• Horizontal reservation: 23 posts reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD – only Orthopedically Handicapped: OL, OA).
• EWS, OBC, SC, ST reservations as per Govt. of India rules.
• In case of non-availability in EWS, candidates from other categories including UR may be considered for patient care.

• EWS candidates must provide valid Income & Asset Certificate for 2025–26 issued on or after 01.04.2025 along with income proofs.
• OBC candidates must provide latest certificate issued on or after 01.04.2025 in DOPT prescribed format.
• Tentative joining date is within 7 days from result announcement.
