• M.D. in General Medicine recognized by Medical Council of India with at least 5 years of experience after passing M.D.
• OR M.B.B.S / BHMS with at least 7 years of experience after passing M.B.B.S / BHMS as a registered medical practitioner.
• Preference will be given to doctors with M.D. in General Medicine.
• Doctors empanelled with PSU / Banks at present or previously will also be preferred.

Application Process

1. Fill the application in the attached Annex-I format.
2. Attach self-attested copies of PAN, Aadhaar, registration certificate, educational qualification certificates, and experience certificates.
3. Send the application by Ordinary Post or Speed Post.
4. The envelope should be superscribed with: Application for engagement of Medical Consultant on contractual basis at Punjab & Sind Bank, Zonal Office Delhi-I.
5. The application should reach the Zonal Manager, Punjab & Sind Bank, Zonal Office Delhi-I, Siddhartha Enclave, Ashram Chowk, New Delhi-I on or before 30.04.2026.

Selection Process

• Applications will be scrutinized by the Bank.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by email.
• Final selection will be based on interview.
• Engagement letter will be sent by email to the selected candidate.
• If selected candidate does not accept the offer in time, the next candidate from the waiting list may be considered.

Work Details

• Working Hours: 08 hours per week
• Visiting Days: To be decided as per convenience of staff
• Initial Contract Period: 2 years
• Extension: Extendable by 2 years at a time based on satisfactory performance
• Termination: Two months’ notice from either side

Key Duties

• Provide medical advice and consultation to bank staff and their family members.
• Scrutinize medical and hospitalization bills for reimbursement.
• Provide opinion in special medical cases.
• Conduct medical check-up of new recruits.
• Assist the Bank in medical matters as required.
• Prescribe medicines and suggest routine treatment.

Other Important Conditions

• The engagement is temporary and does not provide claim for regular employment.
• The consultant will not be eligible for employee benefits such as leave, provident fund, gratuity, medical reimbursement, bonus, newspaper, or other concessions.
• The consultant must maintain strict secrecy regarding the Bank’s affairs.
• The Bank may alter duty hours and location as required.
• The Bank may raise the minimum eligibility standard to restrict interview calls.
