Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

  • A citizen of India; or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan; or
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 intending to settle permanently; or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India, provided they have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit (as on 01.11.2025)

  • Minimum: 25 years
  • Maximum: 33 years
  • Candidates must be born between 02.11.1992 and 01.11.2000 (both dates inclusive).

Educational & Professional Qualification

  • Mandatory: Full-time regular Graduation in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by the Government of India or AICTE.
  • Preferred: Full-time MBA (Marketing or Finance).
  • Experience: Minimum three years post-qualification experience in Relationship/Credit Management, preferably in MSME Banking with a Scheduled Commercial Bank/NBFC/Financial Institution in India.

All educational qualifications must be from recognized institutions. CGPA/OGPA must be converted to percentage as per university norms. The date of passing will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate.

Reservation Details

Reservation will be provided as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories.

  • OBC certificate must include the Non-Creamy Layer clause and caste should appear in the Central List available on www.ncbc.co.in.
  • EWS candidates must present a valid Income & Asset Certificate issued by a competent authority.
  • PwBD candidates are eligible under Section 34 of “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”. Only persons with at least 40% benchmark disability will be eligible.

Categories of benchmark disabilities include:

  1. Visual Impairment (Blindness and Low Vision)
  2. Hearing Impairment (Deaf and Hard of Hearing)
  3. Orthopedically Challenged / Locomotor Disability (One Arm, One Leg, Both Legs, Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims, Muscular Dystrophy)

Certificates must be issued by the competent District Medical Board. Candidates should ensure valid proof of category is available during verification.

Selection Procedure

The selection will consist of multiple stages designed to ensure only qualified and experienced candidates are shortlisted.

  • Final merit list prepared based on combined marks from Written Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage).

Job Profile (Key Responsibilities)

  • Identify and develop new MSME business opportunities through outreach programs and product promotion.
  • Achieve assigned targets in revenue, profitability, and business volume.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing and potential MSME clients.
  • Conduct preliminary due diligence through financial analysis, discussions, and market intelligence.
  • Cross-sell ancillary banking products to MSME customers.
  • Support branch teams in onboarding new MSME accounts and structuring deals.
  • Track competitor activities and communicate key market insights to management.

Terms of Contract

  • Initial engagement for three years, subject to annual performance review.
  • May be extended yearly up to five years at the Bank’s discretion.
  • Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice or payment of one month’s fixed component in lieu.
  • Engagement subject to satisfactory medical examination and verification of documents.
  • Appointee cannot take up employment with any other organization during contract tenure.

Probation & Credit Requirements

  • Probation Period: 6 months from the date of joining.
  • Credit History: Candidate must maintain a healthy credit record with a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at joining. CIBIL report from the bank holding the candidate’s account must be produced during document verification.

Documents Required for Examination & Verification

  • Valid photo identity proof (PAN Card / Passport / Aadhar / Voter ID / Driving License etc.).
  • Proof of date of birth (10th certificate or equivalent).
  • All educational certificates from 10th onwards, including semester-wise mark sheets and final degree certificate.
  • Experience certificates and NOC from current employer if applicable.
  • Category certificates for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD as per prescribed Government format.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs identical to uploaded image.
  • CIBIL report drawn from candidate’s own bank.
  • Any other relevant document in support of eligibility.

Documents must be produced in original along with self-attested copies when called. No documents should be sent to the Bank before or after the interview.
