Base Salary Rs. 2,50,000 per month (Lump sum).
10% increase on successful completion of each year.
No additional allowance for conveyance, telephone, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Post Graduation degree in Economics from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Economic Policy or Economic Analysis from a reputed university in India or abroad.

Experience Requirement

  • More than 15 years of post qualification experience.
  • Experience working on regulatory economics and economic analysis.
  • Experience in regulatory forecasting.
  • Experience in formulation of regulations.
  • Desirable: Experience of working in a regulatory organization.

Age Limit

The age of the applicant shall be below 62 years as on the date of web hosting of the Public Notice. The Board may, at its discretion, relax the age of the applicant and age for retaining the Individual Consultant.

Engagement Period & Terms

  • Initial engagement period is one year.
  • Extendable by another two years (one year at a time) at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
  • Probation period of six months.
  • Based on performance during probation, engagement may be confirmed for the remaining period.
  • Engagement is purely on contract basis.
  • No right or claim for permanent employment with PNGRB.

Leave Policy

  • 1.5 days leave per month during consultancy period.
  • Maximum accumulation up to 5 days.
  • Beyond allowable leaves, consultancy fee will be reduced proportionately.

Termination Clause

  • PNGRB reserves the right to terminate or curtail consultancy period at any time without assigning any reason.
  • Consultant may leave by giving one month’s notice.

Confidentiality

The Individual Consultant must maintain confidentiality of information/data. Violation may lead to termination and legal action including civil/criminal cases and debarment from future engagement.
