Post Details & Designations

Employment Type

The position is purely temporary and contractual, co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment is for one year and may be extended based on satisfactory performance until the completion of the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Signal Processing or allied areas
• Minimum First Class in B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech
• GATE / NET qualification is mandatory
• Age: Preferably below 35 years

Research Associate (I / II / III)

• Ph.D. in Microelectronics & VLSI Design or Signal Processing
• OR M.E./M.Tech with minimum 3 years of research experience
• At least one research paper in SCI/SCIE journal
• Experience in instrumentation amplifier design for EEG, FPGA based signal acquisition, EEG signal processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms

Skill Requirements

• Strong knowledge of circuit design for biomedical signal acquisition
• Experience with EDA tools
• EEG signal processing implementation
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB and FPGA
• Good technical and communication skills

1. Interested candidates must appear for the walk-in interview in hybrid mode.
2. Candidates must bring the filled application form, all original documents and self-attested photocopies.
3. Advance copy of the application form and relevant certificates must be emailed.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on walk-in interview.
• Only candidates reporting before the scheduled reporting time will be considered.
• Late reporting candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

General Terms & Conditions

• The fellowship may be terminated if the candidate’s performance is not satisfactory.
• The position does not confer any right for permanent employment at NIT Uttarakhand.
• Candidates with M.Tech/M.E./M.S. may register for Ph.D. as per institute rules.
• NIT Uttarakhand reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
