Eligibility Criteria

Essential Educational Qualification

• M.E./M.Tech. with First Class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology or related specializations.
• Degree must be from a recognized University/Institute.
• Valid GATE Score is mandatory.
• Only candidates awarded Degree/Provisional Certificate are eligible to apply.
• Candidates must ensure fulfillment of eligibility criteria before applying.

Desirable Qualification / Experience

• Knowledge of Operating Systems like Android, Linux, Windows, etc.
• Knowledge of Information Security.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, Java.
• Experience with various tools used for working with mobile device operating systems.
• Working experience in the relevant subject area will be given preference.

• Proof of Caste (if applicable).
• Proof of Age.
• GATE score details (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (if applicable).
• Original certificates/testimonials must be produced at the time of interview.
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents must be submitted at the interview.

Selection Process

• Only eligible candidates will be called for interview.
• Shortlisting based on percentage of marks/class obtained in minimum qualifying degree.
• Relevant experience and other parameters as deemed appropriate by the Selection Committee.
• Award of Fellowship is purely at the discretion of the Selection Committee.
• The Committee reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

General Conditions

• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
• Candidates must make their own arrangements for travel and stay at NIT Hamirpur.
• The offer of Fellowship does not confer any right of absorption or regular appointment at NIT Hamirpur.
• The Institute reserves the right to cancel the fellowship at any time if the selected candidate is found unsuitable.
