Eligibility Criteria

• B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 50% marks OR GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with 50% marks from recognized University/Institution.
• Only Female Candidates are eligible.
• Candidate must be a Bonafide Himachali.
• Candidate must be registered with HPNRC, Shimla-06.
• Candidate must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from institutions within Himachal Pradesh (except Bonafide Himachalis).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 32 years
• As on: 01.01.2025
• Age relaxation applicable as per Government norms.

Reservation Details

Note: Number of vacancies may increase or decrease till 30.04.2026 or the date of Computer Based/Written Objective Screening Test, whichever is earlier.

Application Fee

Payment Mode: Online only. No other mode is accepted.

Application Process

1. Register on One Time Registration (OTR) portal before applying.
2. Fill the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) form through HPRCA official portal.
3. Upload necessary documents and pay the required fee online.
4. Take a printout of the filled form and keep it for document verification.
5. Original certificates and self-attested photocopies must be brought at the time of verification.
6. Offline applications will not be accepted.

Selection Process

• Written Screening Test (OMR/CBT) – Objective Type.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • General: 45%
  • SC/ST/OBC/WFF: 40%
• If qualified candidates are fewer, qualifying marks may be relaxed by 5%.
• Document Verification for final eligibility confirmation.
• Final Merit List will be prepared on "Merit-Cum-Option-Cum-Availability of Post" basis.

• All communications will be sent via email/SMS only.
• Ensure correctness of all information in the ORA form. Incorrect data may lead to disqualification.
• Candidates from other states will be treated as General (UR) category and will not receive reservation or fee benefits.
• Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Himachal Pradesh courts.
• HPRCA reserves the right to modify advertisement terms or rectify errors at any stage.
• Experience, if applicable, must be acquired after obtaining essential qualification.
