Salary & Remuneration

• Consolidated Monthly Salary: ₹80,000/- per month
• No additional allowances such as DA, HRA, TA, Residential Accommodation or Medical Allowance will be provided
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Applicant must be an Indian National.

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree in Science OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology
• PhD degree holders will be given preference

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience
• Experience in environment, climate change, sustainable development, natural resource management
• Experience of working with Government, International Organizations, or Multilateral Agencies is desirable
• Knowledge of UNCCD / UNFCCC processes will be an added advantage

Language Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to draft reports, notes, and official documents in English

Leave & Other Conditions

• Consultant will be entitled to 1.5 days of leave for each completed month of service
• Leave cannot be accumulated beyond the contract period
• No promotion or regularization will be entertained
• Engagement is purely temporary and contractual
• Consultant may be terminated without notice in case of unsatisfactory performance or misconduct
