Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) invites applications from talented and motivated candidates for recruitment to various Officer, Engineer, and Executive positions across India. HPCL is one of India’s leading energy companies and operates extensively in refining, marketing, and distribution of petroleum products across the country.

HPCL was established on 15 July 1974 and is recognized as a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise. During the financial year 2024-25, the corporation achieved annual gross sales of ₹4,64,247 crore. The company processed 25.3 million tonnes of crude oil and achieved the highest refinery capacity utilization of 109%. HPCL recorded a standalone Profit After Tax of ₹7,365 crore during the same period.

The company operates refineries in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam with designed capacities of 9.5 MMTPA and 15 MMTPA respectively. HPCL also operates the largest lube refinery in the country in Mumbai with a capacity of 428 TMTPA. The corporation holds a 48.99% stake in HMEL refinery in Punjab and a 16.96% equity stake in MRPL refinery in Karnataka.

HPCL has a strong nationwide marketing and distribution network that includes 19 zonal offices, 145 regional offices, 43 terminals and installations, 37 depots, 29 exclusive lube depots, 59 aviation fuel stations, 55 LPG bottling plants, and 4 lube blending plants. The company has more than 24,572 retail outlets and serves over 9.8 crore LPG customers. HPCL also operates the second-largest petroleum product pipeline network in India with a length of 5,440 kilometers.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering for Junior Executive positions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering for Engineer and Officer posts.
• MBA / PGDM qualification required for HR and Sales related roles.
• CA / CMA / MBA Finance qualification required for Finance posts.
• LLB degree required for HR Legal Officer position.
• MCA or Computer Science Engineering degree required for Information Systems positions.
• Additional experience requirements apply for senior positions.

Minimum Marks Requirement

• UR / OBC / EWS Candidates – Minimum 65% Marks
• SC / ST / PwBD Candidates – Minimum 55% Marks
• CA / CMA / CS candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks.

Age Limit

• Freshers Positions – Maximum 25 Years
• Finance / HR Posts – Maximum 27 Years
• Experienced Professional Positions – Age up to 45 Years depending on post
• Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
