Post Details

Remuneration / Salary Details

• For candidates fulfilling Assistant Professor eligibility:
  ₹650 per hour with a maximum of ₹30,000 per month
• For candidates possessing only Master’s Degree:
  ₹550 per hour with a maximum of ₹25,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications (Human Development and Family Studies):

• Doctorate Degree in Human Development and Family Studies / Home Science
• OR Master’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies / Home Science with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in point scale system
• For candidates having only Master’s Degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) is compulsory

• Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Dean, College of Community Science.
• Eligible candidates must appear for the interview in person.
• No separate intimation or call letter will be issued for the interview.

Reservation Policy

• The post is reserved for OBC (Uttarakhand Women).
• If no eligible candidate is available from the reserved category at the time of interview, the post may be filled from the unreserved category due to teaching requirements of the department.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on direct interview.
• Preference will be given to subject discipline experts in Human Development and Family Studies.
• If suitable candidates are not available, candidates from other departments may be considered.

• The University reserves the right not to fill the post without assigning any reason.
• Selected candidates shall be engaged on a contractual basis for IInd Semester 2025–26 only.
• Selected candidates must join duties immediately.
