Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
• Only those who were Junior Engineer (Civil) or above at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD Departments or Central/State PSUs are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applying is 64 years as on 28.10.2025.

Remuneration and Pay Details

• For retired employees from pensionable Government employment: A consolidated amount equivalent to the last pay drawn minus the pension drawn at the time of retirement/superannuation, according to the level/rank at retirement.
• For retired employees from non-pensionable or semi-government organizations (like PSUs, Autonomous Bodies): A fixed consolidated remuneration of ₹33,630/- per month.
• Other Benefits: Eligible for TA/DA for official tours at rates applicable to regular Junior Engineers.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on an Interview. Shortlisted candidates will receive details of the interview date and time through email.

Leave and Service Conditions

• Entitled to one day of leave per month of completed service, in addition to Government Holidays.
• No other paid leave is admissible.
• Selected candidates will be required to sign an Agreement as per ESIC Headquarters’ Letter No. Pt.PS/SE-V/Staff Matter/2013-PMD dated 08.03.2018.
• Extension of the contract is subject to satisfactory performance and will not be allowed beyond the age of 65 years.
