• Additional: ₹ 5,000 per course per semester for exam duties, evaluation, counseling, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with qualified NET (ICAR/UGC/CSIR or equivalent State accredited).
2. NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in a NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed Journal.
3. Exemption from NET is applicable for candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009, subject to conditions:
   • Ph.D. degree awarded in regular mode only.
   • Ph.D. thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.
   • Open viva-voce of the candidate conducted.
   • At least two research papers published from Ph.D. work, with at least one in a refereed journal.
   • At least two presentations in conferences/seminars based on Ph.D. work.
4. Retired University/College teachers of the concerned discipline are also eligible to apply.
5. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Selection Process

• A panel of 3–4 persons will be prepared in the concerned discipline for teaching on contact hour basis.

• The University reserves the right to terminate services at any time without assigning any reason.
• The incumbent must follow the Academic Regulations of the University.
• The incumbent must submit class attendance at the end of each class to the Head of Department concerned.
• The incumbent may be assigned duties such as conducting examinations, invigilation, setting question papers, evaluating answer scripts, and counseling students.
