Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen (Male & Female)
• Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board
• Sports Merit: Must be a medal winner, position holder, or participant in eligible sports events as per the notification

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 23 years
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years (as per rules)

Selection Process

The selection process will be carried out as per BSF recruitment rules for meritorious sportspersons. No written examination will be conducted. The stages are as follows:

1. Document Verification
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Merit List based on sports achievements
4. Medical Examination
