Employment Type: Contractual (Initially 1 year, extendable based on performance)
Monthly Salary: Rs.18,000 + up to Rs.5,000 conveyance reimbursement (Max Rs.23,000/month)

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria Details
Educational Qualification Graduate degree from recognized university. Preference to postgraduates in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work.
Language & Skills Should be well-versed in the local language and possess computer knowledge.
Experience
  • Ex-banker with minimum 5 years in a nationalized/RRB/private bank
  • 5 years in banking/related fields/NBFCs/FIs
  • Business correspondent/BC-Coordinator with 5 years of experience
  • Ex-RSETI Director/Faculty with 5 years of experience
Age Limit Maximum 64 years at the time of appointment; must be medically fit.
Residential Requirement Must be a resident of the respective state, preferably the same district (Shahdara).

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting of candidates based on eligibility.
  • Interview by a panel including LDM, NABARD DDM, SC/ST representative, and Regional Manager.
  • Final selection and appointment by Zonal Head.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct Financial Literacy Camps (FLCs) as per RBI guidelines.
  2. Educate public on banking, financial products, and social security schemes like PMJDY, PMSBY, APY.
  3. Maintain a visit diary and submit monthly reports to LDM/Regional Office.
  4. Ensure arm’s length from bank marketing or recovery operations.
  5. Promote digital banking awareness.
  6. Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and attendees.
  7. Arrange gram sabhas, submit quarterly schedules, and support skill development.

Leave & Termination Policy

  • Casual Leave: 1 day/month (max 12 days/year).
  • Sick Leave: 15 days/year (pro-rated).
  • Unauthorised absence >15 days may lead to termination.
  • Leave approval and out-of-pocket expenses controlled by RSETI Director or LDM.
  • 3 months notice by counsellor for resignation; 1 month notice by bank for termination.
