Eligibility Criteria (as on 01-12-2025)
Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility. Shortlisting/selection is purely provisional without document verification; candidature is subject to verification of details/documents as and when called.
- Educational Qualification: Educational qualifications must be from a college/university recognized by Government of India/AICTE. All educational qualifications should be from recognized University/Institute/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. regulatory bodies. Proper document from Board/University/Regulatory Body has to be submitted at the time of application/interview/as and when called.
- Experience Counting Rule: Post-qualification experience of less than six months in any organization as on 01.12.2025 shall not be considered for determining eligibility, except when such experience is part of the current employment. Experience in clerical cadre would not be considered for determining eligibility.
- Nationality / Citizenship (as on 01.12.2025): Candidate must be either: (i) Citizen of India OR (ii) subject of Nepal OR (iii) subject of Bhutan OR (iv) Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with intention of permanently settling in India OR (v) person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates in categories (ii)-(v) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India.
- Credit History Requirement: Minimum CIBIL score of 680 or above is required at the time of joining. Candidates who defaulted on repayment of loans/credit card dues or against whose names adverse reports are available from CIBIL or other external credit assessment/rating agencies are deemed ineligible. Bank reserves right to reject candidature at any stage, including after joining, if credit profile is unsatisfactory.
Marks/Percentage Rules (as per notification): Candidates should indicate percentage obtained in Graduation/Post Graduation (nearest two decimals). If CGPA/OGPA is awarded, convert to percentage. Percentage is calculated by total marks obtained in all subjects across all semesters/years divided by aggregate maximum marks, multiplied by 100. Selection Process
- Selection Procedure: The selection process may comprise Application Scrutiny, Online Test, Psychometric Test or any other test deemed suitable, followed by Group Discussion and/or Interview of candidates qualifying in the online test.
- Assessment Purpose: Psychometric Test/GD/PI may assess personality, communication, clarity, problem-solving, innovativeness, efficiency, willingness to work anywhere in India, suitability for the post, etc.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks for GD/PI: 60% for UR category and 55% for Reserved category (Bank may change criteria at its discretion).
- Merit & Final Scores: Combined final score may be based on Online Test and/or PI and/or GD and/or any other adopted method. Candidate must qualify all selection processes and be sufficiently high in merit for further allotment.
- Shortlisting: Merely meeting eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be called. Bank may call candidates in a particular ratio and may consider candidature for other positions if eligible.
